The last few years have left many of us feeling stuck. We've returned, but things just aren't the same. Do you ever feel like you’re spinning your wheels? Does it ever feel like for every 2 steps forward, you have to take 3 steps back? The Old Testament figure Nehemiah (along with the rest of the people of God) can relate. After decades of exile, the people of God have returned to Jerusalem. They're finally home...but it doesn't feel like home. It doesn't look like home. If they're ever going to move forward, something needs to change. Doors need to open. Hearts need to be transformed. God needs to move. Something’s gotta give.
