What do we do when we face times of hardship and suffering? What does authentic faith and praise look like during times of suffering, death, and unexpected hardship? American Christianity has largely ignored the biblical practice of lament, while it is an essential ingredient of honest faith. Without lament we struggle to grow in our faith through difficult times, our mission suffers, and we tend to become apathetic toward the needs of our community. During this series we learn what it means to reclaim the biblical practice of lament by singing songs of lament, reading psalms of lament, and listening to the journey from despair to hope & love.
